YouTube, Blogs, Texting, the Web: How Are New Media Changing Politics?

In April 2009, three Berkeley professors gave a lecture regarding new media’s effect on political communication. They discussed how social media is making political interaction and participation more prevalent, and whether or not this has created any major effects, what what are these changes, and what are the pros and cons of this new media on political communication.

The three lecturers are Henry Brady (Public Policy Professor), Bruce Cain (Political Science Professor), and Geoffrey Nunberg (linguist and School of Information Professor).
