Women, Ambition and (Still) the Pay Gap – Rosabeth Moth Kanter

Women have undoubtedly climbed their way up the ranks from where they were decades ago, but there are still inequalities. For instance, women are still not paid equally to men. And while there may be more women in undergraduate studies at colleges than men, there are still few women in high-level positions.

Rosabeth Moth Kanter is a professor at the Harvard Business School and author of Supercorp: How Vanguard Companies Create Innovation, Profits, Growth, and Social Good. She discusses why women have still not achieved the levels they would like. For example, executives are more likely to trust and promote someone similar to themselves, and the majority of executives are currently men.

This interview provides valuable insight for both men and women.
