The Truth According To Wikipedia

Web 2.0 is defined by the new interaction taking place on the web. When the internet first began, it was the land of “dot com’s”, who were out to make a profit. Now, sites have taken on a new form…a form of collaboration. Sites like Wikipedia have made it so anyone from anywhere can work together to create, in Wikipedia’s case, an encyclopedia. But what does this say about the integrity of the Wikipedia’s content?

Critics say its quality is compromised without experts in charge. Others say that everyone has a right to share their knowledge. Now that Wikipedia has become larger than than Encyclopedia Britannica, it is important we study this topic. Should Wikipedia be praised or scorned?
